A reconnaissance soldier survives a failed mission and must deliver a warning about the Black Order, a force gathering beyond the Spine. The journey combines survival decisions with a tense relationship with the companion Candler.

Warmth, stamina, trust, and equipment shape the available routes and five endings. I revised the story into an original dark fantasy setting, using player behavior to determine how Candler judges and helps—or betrays—the survivor.
